The Staff at PATH is trained to incorporate psychiatric and vocational rehabilitation practices into Residents’ daily schedule, utilizing a variety of experiential and empirically-based models of recovery. Residents in our program will learn DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills, the principles and practice of mindfulness, mentalizing and relationship skills, and work with their therapist on psychodynamic issues. Residents and their families will be connected to family therapists and coaches to help manage issues in the family that almost inevitably occur during times of stress.
Although the average length of stay at PATH is approximately 6 months, each Resident’s progress is unique and their actual time at PATH may be more or less, determined by both the Resident and their treatment team.
